1 down, 3 to go

I had my first Christmas of the year at my nanny’s house Sunday. A lot of my family was there so that was cool – always good to see my aunts (great aunt included), uncles, cousins, and of course my grandmas. I got a lot of cool things. My daddy and I put together my big wheel that nanny gave me.

I have a few more time to celebrate Christmas with the rest of my family. Keep you posted.

Vacation…all I ever wanted…

That was a flashback to the 80s for all you old enough to remember the Go-Gos.

I am on vacation for the week. That means no school, going to bed late, sleeping late, eating whatever….well, maybe not since the parents are still around. I may be able to manage staying up late, but I think I will get up at the same early time as usual just so I have more day. I am going to love being off with mommy and daddy – we are going to be so busy.

Girls, girls, girls

Alright, I’ve been labeled somewhat of a ladies man in my class. When I show up, I’ve got two little girls that wait for me and then fight over me all day. Their names are Jayden and Angela, but I call her Angie. I have to try to balance my time with them so I don’t get them in a jealous feud or anything. If you have any tips, feel free to share them. I should ask my daddy – I’m sure I got all my game from him.

Below is a picture of me and Angie walking around….that’s how I roll…..don’t hate the playa, hate the game.

Christmas light count update

I have confirmed that there are now 46 houses with Christmas lights on my way home from school. How do I know? I count them every day or as daddy and mommy would say EVERY DAY! I will continue counting to see if the number goes up or down. Keep you posted.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

This past weekend I spent a little time with my Nanny and Iris. They took me to the mall to see a lot of trains. They thought I would want to go sit in Santa’s lap and tell him what I want for Christmas, but they don’t know me that well, do they? I opted against sitting in the old man’s lap. I think I may try to do this with daddy and mommy, but no guarantees there either. Last year they threw me into his lap and jumped out of the way while a photographer snapped a picture. It wasn’t my best moment, nor my mommy and daddy’s best moment. They keep asking, but we’ll see.

Oh, and I almost forgot, I have presents under the tree for me. I asked mommy if I could open them and she said I had to wait for Christmas. I told her it is Christmas – see all the lights. She then said I had to wait for Christmas day. So I thought maybe I could get daddy to to open them. I told him that he could go ahead and open mine last night, that it was okay. He didn’t fall for it. He sniffed that one out right away. I will have to find some other way to open my presents before Christmas day.

I’ll get back to you on that one and the whole Santa thing, too.

Christmas lights

There are 32 houses with Christmas lights from my school to my house. Ask me how I know. I know because I point them out every day on my way home and my mommy and daddy count them as we go. They always ask if we are going to do this again and I always say YES! So I point out every house with Christmas lights on them like it was my first time to see them. I guess in a way I am seeing them for the first time – from that perspective – think on that one for a while;)

Anyway, I’ll update you if there are any added b/c you know I will be pointing them out – EVERY DAY!

And I might throw up some pics of my house with lights.

Cartoon life

One of my favorite cartoons right now is Caillou. I am just so captivated when he comes on. I will zone out to the point that you can talk to me and I won’t reply b/c it doesn’t register. I think mommy and daddy have figured this out b/c they are pretty eager at times for me to watch him when they are tired. (Disclaimer: My daddy and mommy are making me put this disclaimer in that says I used the previous statement for comedic effect as opposed to it being fact just in case CPS is following my blog. I also have to say that I have wonderful and caring parents.)

Anyway, I told my daddy I like Caillou so my daddy said he would make me into a cartoon like Caillou. He also made some of our other pics for fun. He went to BeFunky to make the pics look like a cartoon. It was pretty easy from what I saw. So easy, we may make a comic strip at some point. No guarantees.

P-out!

You don’t have to paint me a picture (Alan Jackson)….

…but I sure am glad you did.

I have been holding off on showing this for a while. My daddy didn’t want me to throw it up there with my last name visible to everyone in the world – at least not until I’m famous for something good like inventing the next new software to take over the world, or some life-saving cure, or at least being able to average 300 yards passing per football game.

Anyway, here is a painting a friend of my daddy’s painted. Here name is Pam C. She rocks. She knew my room had planes in it so she wanted something that I would like. And do I ever. It hangs right above my bed. She does a lot of work for weddings and homes. If you guys want something custom and nice, you should let me know and I can connect you with Pam C. She is a bit more abstract than traditional. Not quite Picasso out there, but closer to Warhol. But she can pretty much do anything you want and if she thinks it would be a challenge then she would tell you. My daddy says she has no problem being honest.

I LOVE MY PAINTING!

(BTW this isn’t the best pic my daddy could take b/c it’s a little fuzzy, but you get the idea.)
