I hope I haven’t kept you guys hanging too long on what I was for Halloween this year. I know you’ve probably been on the edge of your seat to find out. Well, before I show you how I looked, let’s recap the past few years.
Halloween 2006 – Red Hot Chili Pepper – Give it away, give it away, give it away now… (BTW I couldn’t find the pic of me so I grabbed a pic off the web of some kid – not nearly as good looking as me, but you get the idea.)
Halloween 2007 – Dumbo – mom said everyone would be wearing something like this – NOT
Halloween 2008 – I had a Spiderman costume, but didn’t want to wear it until this past year when mommy and I were cleaning out the spare bedroom. I think it’s slimming.
Halloween 2009 – Popo – Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do when they come for you.
HALLOWEEN 2010 – IRON MAN!!!!
We went trick or treating with our neighbors. They always have friends over every Halloween. It was pretty cool. I didn’t realize there would be so many Iron Man costumes – at least it wasn’t the Oscars or anything or I would have been embarrassed. BTW I think I looked the best b/c I had big muscles, a better mask, an Iron Man bucket, and the hand light thingy that made cool sounds.
Well, the State Fair of Texas has come and gone. I haven’t been before because my folks don’t think I am quite ready to go just yet, but they did say that they think I will be ready next year. After seeing the pics of mommy and the rides they have there, I’m not so sure. She said that she usually talks daddy into going on the roller coasters and scary rides with her, but this time Ricky was there so daddy and Nelda took a break and kept each other company on the ground. I guess when I get bigger and want to ride the scary rides, daddy can hold mommy’s purse while we ride.
My homie Caden had a birthday party the other day. Daddy wasn’t able to go, but mommy took me to the jump place where he held it at and it was a blast. I did my best House of Pain and jumped around all day with my homies Caden and Noah. (I’m in the white t-shirt on the videos and the one with hat on in the pic.)
Mommy, daddy, and I went over to my buddy Garrett’s house. He has a little sister named Kinsey who is pretty cool, but he is the coolest by far because he and I play all the time. This time, we went over and I got to play with his Spiderman web shooters. They shoot silly string and it was so cool. He is a little faster than me, but I ran as fast as I could to catch him and did a few times. We had so much fun. The coolest thing is that Garrett gave me the web shooters so now I can chase mommy and daddy around our backyard like I did Garrett. (They say they can’t wait.)
For the 3rd day in a row I have a birthday shout out to my boo. And this is a very special one. This is a happy birthday shout out to my first girlfriend. She is a little older than me, but not like a cougar or anything. Happy birthday ‘lil mama!
Kelly is my mommy’s best friend from grade school. She was in the Air Force, but fortunately back with us now. She is a good friend and person according to my mommy.
Usually my weekends are pretty laid back. I wake up around 7a on Saturdays. My mommy or daddy gets me some milk and something to eat. Then I decide what kind of mood I am going to be in that day. And just b/c I pick one mood at 7a doesn’t mean that I am going to be in that mood at 12p or 8a for that matter. Read the fine print….I reserve the right to change my moods at the drop of a hat for whatever reason I see fit. Don’t believe me? Try me. Then I usually play outside, do a few things with the fam, take a nap, play some more, ride my bike, go to the park, etc. Again, my weekends are fun, but pretty laid back – no schedules. This weekend, at least Saturday, was packed full.
First thing Saturday, I woke up and had my milk and breakfast. Then daddy took me to get my hair did b/c I had a birthday party to go to for one of my little girlies in my class, Alexis. I usually go to Snip-Its to get my hair did because that is the first place I went to when I moved back to Texas and I don’t like change.
After getting my hair did (and I do look good), I needed to get Alexis a gift. So off to Toys R Us. Now, my mommy and daddy thought I suggested this place b/c I could get a gift for Alexis, but they didn’t know I was working my way into a gift for me. I ended up pocketing a Play-Doh play kit and The Fox and the Hound DVD. Oh yeah, I got Alexis a My Little Pony thing.
So now this brings us to the party. It was at The Little Gym. This was the first time for me to go there and I told my daddy that I liked the place and wanted to go back. I was a bit apprehensive at first because I had to take my shoes and socks off. I don’t really like going barefoot, but daddy and mommy took theirs off so I figured it was okay. So I’m in the gym and checking out the place. I was able to jump on mats, swing on bars, run through tunnels, and even play games. For those of you who don’t know me, this was a big deal. I usually am more reserved, but I was letting it all hang out and laughing, playing, yelling, etc. We then ate some pizza and cupcakes and watched Alexis open her presents. She got some pretty cool stuff. Overall, it was awesome and I can’t wait to go back.
After this, I thought my day was over, but NO. We ended up meeting up with grannie, my great aunt Cyndy, great uncle Ronnie, cousin Chrissy and her husband Michael (they’re expecting – can’t wait to meet my new cousin), cousin Bubba and his girlfriend Mallory. We all went to Pappasito’s for dinner and then went bowling. I’ve been to a bowling alley before, but I’ve never actually bowled. THIS TIME I DID! The bowling alley had this cool thing where I could put my ball on and push it down the lane since I couldn’t hold the ball like everyone else. When I get bigger like daddy I can do it that way.
I didn’t get to bed until late that night so I decided to sleep in the next morning. I went to Tio’s house on Sunday because it was his birthday.
I have been holding off on showing this for a while. My daddy didn’t want me to throw it up there with my last name visible to everyone in the world – at least not until I’m famous for something good like inventing the next new software to take over the world, or some life-saving cure, or at least being able to average 300 yards passing per football game.
Anyway, here is a painting a friend of my daddy’s painted. Here name is Pam C. She rocks. She knew my room had planes in it so she wanted something that I would like. And do I ever. It hangs right above my bed. She does a lot of work for weddings and homes. If you guys want something custom and nice, you should let me know and I can connect you with Pam C. She is a bit more abstract than traditional. Not quite Picasso out there, but closer to Warhol. But she can pretty much do anything you want and if she thinks it would be a challenge then she would tell you. My daddy says she has no problem being honest.
I LOVE MY PAINTING!
(BTW this isn’t the best pic my daddy could take b/c it’s a little fuzzy, but you get the idea.)
