Everybody’s workin’ for the weekend….

It’s no different for kids, you know. After a long week at school, I was ready to chill. I wanted to just sleep in, veg as much as possible, and of course spend time with the fam. That is exactly what I did.

We had a storm roll through Thursday night and it was lightening and thundering all night. I woke up a little scared so I went downstairs and slept with my daddy who fell asleep on the couch while he was trying to decompress from his workout – I guess it worked. Anyway, I managed to work myself right next to him and I was as comfortable as could be. I heard my daddy telling mommy, that he was a bit crowded and couldn’t really sleep that well, but his snoring could have fooled me.

My folks thought I would sleep in Saturday since I was up the night before, but that is what they get for thinking. There was way to much playing to do to sleep in. I was ready to run them ragged and I did. We played outside, inside, and everywhere else I could think of playing.  Sunday – the same thing. All in all, it was a good chill weekend with a lot of playing going on. Wish we had another day to enjoy together, but I have to make my brain bigger by going to school and mommy and daddy need to keep working so they can bring home the bacon. Have a great week all.

Off road…

Papa and Grandma Kolias came over today for brunch. I must say my daddy sure can make a mean eggs benedict. After we ate, I went cruising in my Jeep. I make it look good, don’t I? Don’t leave the gate open or I might hit the open road.

Come together, right now, over me…

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone that came over for my birthday get together Saturday. I always enjoy seeing you guys and really felt the love. And, of course, thanks for the presents. I think daddy and mommy have finally finished putting everything together. I think they secretly enjoy all the pieces – the more the merrier I think. Boxes are everywhere still.

If anyone has any pictures or video from the get together, please share them with me and email them to me at prkolias@gmail.com or send them on CD to me.

Anyway, thanks again to you all – Grannie, Papa Dupree, Grandma Dupree, Nanny, Iris, Uncle David, Uncle Brent, Dylan, Amanda, Sylvia, Jeff, Julia, Christie, Anthony, Patricia, Aunt Tammy, James, mommy, daddy, and anyone else I may have forgotten.

Birthdays just keep on coming…

Today there were two more birthdays to make not of…..Alyssa Zavala turned the big 1. Her brother is my homie, Jandro. Also celebrating a birthday is Grandma Linda. She turns the big ?????? I wouldn’t do that to you Grandma Linda. You both should head to the Waffle House for your birthday meal – tell ’em Parker sent you.

You say it’s your birthday….

….it’s my birthday, too….happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me…..go ahead shorty, it’s my birthday, we gonna party like it’s  my birthday….

That’s right, I am 3 years old today! I have already learned about a birthday week b/c I did not go to school yesterday and I’m not going today and I won’t be going for the rest of the week. Birthdays rock. I am also throwing a party Saturday at my folks house around 5p so feel free to drop by. Just let one of us know by sending an email to one of the below emails. Not sure all I am doing today, but I will post later to let you know.

Happy birthday also to Jason Eskew. He was born on the same day as me many years before.

Weekend recap

I had a good weekend. Saturday, I went over to my cousin Katelyn’s place because she was having her Sweet 16 birthday party. It was a luau party at the pool with a movie playing in the background – pretty cool. I hope that many girls come to my 16th party – McKinney is where I throw my mack down. Anyway, I got to see some family and stay up late. My folks thought I would fall asleep on the way home or sleep in late Sunday – wrong on both counts. I will get some pics posted when my Nanny sends them to me.

Sunday, my homie Jandro came over. He also brought his parents and little sister who is pretty cute – how you doin’?! They brought a cake for us to celebrate my birthday, Jandro’s, and Alyssa (little sister) – all our birthdays are in August. Tio and Kim also came over. Tio is loco and he is proud of it. We all had a good time. I was pooped after everyone left. All worth it though. Good times.

Oh, and the potty thing is going great. No accidents for me this weekend. I am not sleeping in big boy underwear yet, but I will be next weekend. Keep you posted on that one.

Bday shout out to Great Uncle Ronnie

My great uncle had a birthday today. He is my great uncle because he is my mommy’s uncle and because he is a trip – so great. You should have heard some of the stories I heard from my folks when they got back from the Bahamas for Cousing Chrissy’s wedding. Here are some pics – he loves his shark tooth necklace(s).

At the movies

My Grannie took me to the movies to see Ice Age 3. I was pretty stoked to check out the movie since I thought the performances in 1 and 2 were inspired. I figured there was more to come. And I was right! This installment had humor, action, drama – I laughed, I cried, I asked for more!

Grannie said I was a good boy and I think I was. I whispered during the movie so I wouldn’t disturb anyone and I stayed in my seat the whole time. That may have been because I was busy eating all the candy Grannie had hidden in her purse. After the movie, she took me to the toy store to get some dinosaurs so I could reinact some of the scenes from the movie – I need to work on my voices since all my dinosaurs still sound like me. Anyway, I still have time to work on that one since I am only performing for my daddy and mommy.

All in all, it was just a good day. Thank you Grannie and thank you 20th Century Fox.
