Happy birthday Troy

I forgot to give a happy birthday shout out to Troy. He is a cool guy and never tries to push to much or get in my grill. He has a couple of kids I like to play with – Cameron and Sydney. Anyway, Troy, you were on my calendar – I just forgot to give you a shout.

Potty update

Okay, so this week I decided to wear big boy underwear to school this week instead of pull-ups. I must say I am rather proud of myself because I only had 2 accidents so far this week. The teachers at school are all impressed and making a big deal out of me being a big boy.

The first incident was not a matter of not going in time, but rather control or aim may be a better way to phrase what I mean. The other one just happened. I went like 4 times today with no issue, but for some reason this one snuck up on me and I soaked everything in sight – just in time for my daddy to pick me up and change me. I was so wet that I even got a little bit on him from contact. Oh well, it keeps him on his toes and from getting too comfortable with the situation.

Again, I have to say I am doing a pretty good job – kicking that potty’s bobo.

How ’bout that Cowboy Stadium

A friend took this shot from this weekend’s Gold Cup. Talk about nice. Can’t wait to catch a game there. My dad bought Papa Kolias and me a personalized brick at the stadium. Not sure where it is around the stadium, but you better bet we will find it some place. AND check out that hi-def screen – 60 yds!

Happy Birthday Papa Dupree

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Papa Dupree, happy birthday to you!

That should be read/sung in your deepest and funniest voice to mimic Papa Dupree – he’s silly like that some times….most times. Hope you have a great birthday today, Papa. Love you.

Relapse…kinda

I blogged about being all better, but I may have spoken a little too soon. Don’t be too concerned, but my tummy aches a little and my throat is still a little soar. No fever or anything like I was before, but not 100% like I stated earlier. I am still taking my meds so that is probably messing with my stomach a little so that should clear up. I am saying my throat hurts, but I am not acting like it because I am still screaming and running around like crazy. Oh well, keep you posted.

At the movies

My Grannie took me to the movies to see Ice Age 3. I was pretty stoked to check out the movie since I thought the performances in 1 and 2 were inspired. I figured there was more to come. And I was right! This installment had humor, action, drama – I laughed, I cried, I asked for more!

Grannie said I was a good boy and I think I was. I whispered during the movie so I wouldn’t disturb anyone and I stayed in my seat the whole time. That may have been because I was busy eating all the candy Grannie had hidden in her purse. After the movie, she took me to the toy store to get some dinosaurs so I could reinact some of the scenes from the movie – I need to work on my voices since all my dinosaurs still sound like me. Anyway, I still have time to work on that one since I am only performing for my daddy and mommy.

All in all, it was just a good day. Thank you Grannie and thank you 20th Century Fox.

All better

I am happy to tell you that I am all better now. I had a sore throat for a little while after my last post, but I have been taking my medicine like a good boy and I feel better.

I went to school the last two days – I couldn’t talk the folks into letting me play hooky any more. Oh well. I did get to catch up with some of my Homies – Jazmine, Jandro, and Adi. It was good to see them. I got caught up on all that went on at school – nothing new. I did get to show them my new shoes – they light up when I walk. AND they have Spiderman on them – so cool!

I have also been sleeping in my big boy bed for the past week. I still have to take some pics of my room to show you what my daddy and I did to the room. It looks pretty cool and like a boys room – my room. Pics to come later.

Happy Birthday Cousin Chrissy

Happy birthday shout out to my cousin Chrissy Cox-Satterfield. I won’t say how old she is – this is something I learned from my mommy who maintains she is 25.

Happy Birthday, Chrissy!
