At the movies

My Grannie took me to the movies to see Ice Age 3. I was pretty stoked to check out the movie since I thought the performances in 1 and 2 were inspired. I figured there was more to come. And I was right! This installment had humor, action, drama – I laughed, I cried, I asked for more!

Grannie said I was a good boy and I think I was. I whispered during the movie so I wouldn’t disturb anyone and I stayed in my seat the whole time. That may have been because I was busy eating all the candy Grannie had hidden in her purse. After the movie, she took me to the toy store to get some dinosaurs so I could reinact some of the scenes from the movie – I need to work on my voices since all my dinosaurs still sound like me. Anyway, I still have time to work on that one since I am only performing for my daddy and mommy.

All in all, it was just a good day. Thank you Grannie and thank you 20th Century Fox.

All better

I am happy to tell you that I am all better now. I had a sore throat for a little while after my last post, but I have been taking my medicine like a good boy and I feel better.

I went to school the last two days – I couldn’t talk the folks into letting me play hooky any more. Oh well. I did get to catch up with some of my Homies – Jazmine, Jandro, and Adi. It was good to see them. I got caught up on all that went on at school – nothing new. I did get to show them my new shoes – they light up when I walk. AND they have Spiderman on them – so cool!

I have also been sleeping in my big boy bed for the past week. I still have to take some pics of my room to show you what my daddy and I did to the room. It looks pretty cool and like a boys room – my room. Pics to come later.

P-out!

Happy Birthday Cousin Chrissy

Happy birthday shout out to my cousin Chrissy Cox-Satterfield. I won’t say how old she is – this is something I learned from my mommy who maintains she is 25.

Happy Birthday, Chrissy!

Fever in the morning, fever in the night

Your favorite boy has Scarlet Fever. Yes, Scarlet Fever!!

Search WebMD or Wikipedia or any Google search to learn more. I totally thought this was something that was gone back in the 1800s. Evidentally, not! There was a case or two at school a month or so ago, but nothing too major. The upside is that I get to stay home with my daddy and get taken care of – what else is new, right?

Last night I got to sleep in my mommy & daddy’s bed since I was feeling so bad. Tonight I am in my new bed and in my new room. More on that one later – w/ pics.

The move to Parksway

I have been asked why I was moving from the Google site to this WordPress site. The truth is that I can do everything I did over there from here now and with better organization. The main thing that I liked to do at the Google site was to blog. This site is made for specifically that and allows you to reply with comments, etc. which was not possible at the other site. I am going to keep that going in case I want some other information to be there, but this will be my main page for communicating what is going on with me.

I did have a slide show on the other site, which I will get here eventually, but I have to tweak the site a bit first. Until then, there is a link to my YouTube channel for you to subscribe to so you can see the latest vids.

You should make this one of your favorites – need I explain why???

Peace Out – PK

My homie, Jandro

I invited one of my homies from school over to my place this Saturday. We had a blast – off the chain. We played all over the house. From the moment he got here, we were nonstop. I think we stopped a couple of times to down some Capri Suns, but other than that we were sliding, swinging, racing, playing with cars, etc. I was a little bummed when he left, but I was pooped. I slept in Sunday until about 9a. Hope he comes over more often. It was a lot of fun.

In training

Okay, this past weekend my folks had me in potty training. I wore big boy underwear – the kind with Spiderman and everything. I had to make sure I told them when I was ready to go potty. I mean they were constantly asking – enough already, right. Anyway, I guess it was good they asked because sometimes I would forget and have an accident, but I got real good by the end of the weekend. Then, came school. I didn’t do so great there, but that is a strange potty because it isn’t mine so it may take me time to warm up to that one. I will try to get better there, but when I come home I am a king on his throne.

Progress???

Okay, so I got my first progress report from my school yesterday. It gives you a rating between 1-5. So I am told that 1 is the best so I expect to open this thing up and see nothing but 1s or a real big 1, but instead I see some 2s and some 5s. The images below will let you see what I got. Here are some highlights…..

Category                        Rating       PRK Comments
Play well w/ others            2               If the “others” that they speak of would
do what I say, then I would have a 1.
Particpate in activities     2               I will participate when I feel like it so
                                                                     this may be deserved.
Name colors                         2               Name colors? You want that in English
or Spanish? I deserve a 1 on that one.
Identify body parts           5               Again, English or Spanish?!
Go to bathroom                  4               Working on it, okay? Give me a break.
I like my Elmo potty better.

I guess the lesson(s) I learned here is that I need to talk and participate to show I know all this stuff. Maybe I am just waiting on a challenge. Either way, I need to get over it and just do it so they recognize my skills.
