UFC 103

My daddy went to the Ultimate Fighting Championship 103 yesterday. He said that it was an experience to see 17,000+ people there to watch a couple of guys beat the poop out of each other. But he said it was cool. Daddy is into that. He has me working on my ground game pretty often by wrestling around with me. He also tries to teach his best move – the Americana. He said he learned it from his day of jiu-jitsu training with his buddy Troy. Evidently, they tour the metroplex taking free jiu-jitsu classes – not sure that they will ever get a belt that way, but I guess they learn enough to laugh at each other.

Anyway, daddy said he would take me to a UFC when I am older if I was interested in going. He says it is too violent for me right now. So I guess we will stick to having our own UFC matches at home. I am currently 2-19-1 (W-L-T) against daddy, but he only has about another 10 years before I start dominating.

This is a video of a guy from UFC 103 my daddy told me to not be like.

Doctor, Doctor – give me the news

Today, instead of going to school, I went to the doctor. Don’t worry, I’m not sick. I had my 3-yr check up. I think my mommy was a little nervous that I would have to get a shot. I wasn’t worried. I’m a big boy and I can handle it anyway. The good news for mommy was that there was no shot. I did get a little shot in my finger to get a small amount of blood, but it didn’t hurt at all. The nurse gave me a band-aid. She was a good nurse, but not as good as a nurse as my mommy. I also got a flu “shot”, but it was in the form of a nasal spray so my mommy was relieved. That should keep me healthy this flu season. I probably need to get the H1N1 (Swine) flu shot, too.

Other than that, the doctor said I was “perfect!” I must get that from my daddy b/c grannie always says that he was perfect, too. I weigh 28.5 lbs and am 37.75″ tall. That should put me at about 6’3″ when I am all grown. He did say that I need to start going to the dentist. Not because I have anything wrong, but just to get the regular check-ups in. Not sure how I feel about that one yet. Maybe I can let you know after the first visit.

My mommy said I did great at the doctor and that was good enough for me.

After the doctor visit, I went to visit my nanny. She isn’t feeling great right now, but she was happy to see me. We played, laughed, and did whatever I wanted. After I left there, I was exhausted. I fell asleep in the car. My mommy said she was hoping to I would take a nap at home because she was tired and cranky, but I had enough sleep in the car so I decided to stay awake and keep mommy company.

Bugged

I’m not sure, but I think my room is bugged. I came home early from school today b/c I had a fever again (99.6). When I went to take a nap I decided to do a little reading and a little singing and I got the strangest feeling someone was listening. I thought bugging was illegal. Who’s behind this – CIA, FBI, KGB???? I’m going to call the ACLU.

Not a good day…part 2

I forgot to mention that the day started with my Nanny telling mommy that there was a fire at their pet grooming place. Fortunately, no one was hurt, but still took its toll on the shop and employees. Hopefully, everything will be repaired and back to normal quickly. Keep you posted.

What it cost to raise me…

I came across this article on what it costs to raise a child. I question some of these costs b/c it isn’t like mommy and daddy weren’t going to eat anyway or have to have a place to live. It’s not like I eat a lot or take up a lot of space. Yeah, I may have a toy or two hundred, but I’m sure the folks got them on sale, right? Hmmm, maybe those numbers aren’t too far off afterall.

How ’bout that Cowboy Stadium

A friend took this shot from this weekend’s Gold Cup. Talk about nice. Can’t wait to catch a game there. My dad bought Papa Kolias and me a personalized brick at the stadium. Not sure where it is around the stadium, but you better bet we will find it some place. AND check out that hi-def screen – 60 yds!

The move to Parksway

I have been asked why I was moving from the Google site to this WordPress site. The truth is that I can do everything I did over there from here now and with better organization. The main thing that I liked to do at the Google site was to blog. This site is made for specifically that and allows you to reply with comments, etc. which was not possible at the other site. I am going to keep that going in case I want some other information to be there, but this will be my main page for communicating what is going on with me.

I did have a slide show on the other site, which I will get here eventually, but I have to tweak the site a bit first. Until then, there is a link to my YouTube channel for you to subscribe to so you can see the latest vids.

You should make this one of your favorites – need I explain why???

Peace Out – PK

Catch up

I have been a little lazy lately about blogging. That’s because I’ve been on Facebook and Twitter to see what all the buzz is about. If any of you are on those, hit me up at “CJ Kol”. That should work for either. I enjoy a little bit of anonymity at my dad’s expense. Anyway, to catch you up on some stuff…..

Mother’s Day – had brunch at Mattito’s with the fam. Pretty good food I must say and from what I could gather, everyone’s orange juice must have been good. I never see mommy drink that much orange juice. She must have needed her vitamin C. Same goes for Grannie and Nannie. I think the vitamin C worked because they all looked pretty happy after dirnking a few glasses.

Dad’s birthday – My dad turned 35 which is really old, but not as old as mommy (that was for you pops – you owe me one). Anyway, he got a very cool gift from mommy – a new TATTOO!! At first I was frustrated with him for drawing on himself and I scolded him for it, but then he explained that it wasn’t coming off and I needed to get over it. Sometimes I need talks like that. He also said it was a form of art and that it showed he really loved me. So with that, it is pretty cool. It’s on his left wrist. Here is the pic……
