Let’s do lunch

Typically my school makes me lunch, but today we were having a picnic so I had to bring a sack lunch. This is the first  time I’ve ever had to bring a lunch so the pressure was on my folks to make me something nutritious, but not boring. Daddy was the one that took me to school this morning so he was the one who had to prepare the lunch. I told him I wanted a peanut butter & jelly sandwich without the peanut butter because the teacher said we couldn’t have peanut butter. Some people are allergic to peanuts so the school didn’t want to take a chance of us sharing food. They obviously don’t know that PARKER DOESN’T SHARE FOOD!

Anyway, besides the jelly sandwich, I told daddy I wanted a hot dog, sun chips, cookies, Spiderman snacks, apples, and grapes. I usually eat a little of this pretty regularly, but the teachers seemed to be tickled that I had so much food. Yeah, it may have been odd, but my folks didn’t want me to not have enough to eat.

Heck No, We Won’t Go

I staged my first sit-in protest the other day at school and it was all caught on tape. What was I protesting? The Stretch-N-Grow lady. No one is going to tell me when to stretch and to when to grow. As you can see from the shots below, I was pretty convincing b/c I got my peeps to follow my lead….and even the Stretch-N-Grow lady followed my lead. (BTW I’m the one in the hat and red shirt.)

Be mine…

I didn’t get around to posting on Valentine’s Day because…..well….I had so many girlies I had to address. I mean, it ain’t easy being big Parker b/c I have all these girls wanting me to be their Valentine and all.

Anyway, in preparation for the big heart day at school, my mommy and daddy had to help me create a box that followed the theme of the day to store all my Valentine Day booty (meant in the same manner as a pirate would mean it – get your mind out of the gutter). I know it’s late, but here is the pic. My daddy and mommy were very proud of our effort and think it was the best in class.

Girls, girls, girls

Alright, I’ve been labeled somewhat of a ladies man in my class. When I show up, I’ve got two little girls that wait for me and then fight over me all day. Their names are Jayden and Angela, but I call her Angie. I have to try to balance my time with them so I don’t get them in a jealous feud or anything. If you have any tips, feel free to share them. I should ask my daddy – I’m sure I got all my game from him.

Below is a picture of me and Angie walking around….that’s how I roll…..don’t hate the playa, hate the game.

I always feel like somebody’s watching me…

Is it any wonder the camera is focused on me? Actually, my Grannie is trying to sweet talk the teacher into moving the camera so I am on it all the time. Evidently, the camera can’t see me when I sit in my chair at the table. It hasn’t worked so far – Grannie may need bigger bribes.

BTW my teacher, Ms. Stephanie, told my daddy I was out of my shell now. She told him that when he picked me up today. I talk to everyone, but not real wild about others playing with my favorite teacher, especially in the morning. Actually, it takes me about an hour at school before I really warm up to anyone in the morning. Funny story, this morning after I punched in the code to get in the door my old teacher was there and tried to say hi to me. My response??? I growled like a baby bear a growling (said in my best Sissy Spacek in Coal Miner’s Daughter accent). She use to be my teacher – she knows better.

8/31 is the day

This was the day that I decided I would go ahead and play with anything I wanted at school. I was playing with the legos and built a hospital like the one being built by my house and the one mommy works in. I also decided to talk up a storm to Ms Jessica – she’s sweet. She felt so good b/c everyone had warned her that I would probably not talk to her. Did “everyone” ever think I may not have had anything to say OR that it may be them?????

Anyway, today was a good day. Watch out – from here on out, there is no stopping me. (BTW that’s me at the bottom left in the pale green t-shirt.)

It was just a good day

I heard this line from the Upland, CA high school soccer coach after he had just won his 300th game. All he had to say when he was told that he was one of the few that had achieved this – “it was just a good day.”

While I didn’t accomplish anything like this today, I did go to my new class today. We are all big kids in there compared to the past class I was in. Ms. Stephanie is my teacher and she seems pretty cool. She has some cool tats so she can’t be all that bad. In this class we get to spend more time learning, coloring, and reading at the table instead of running around aimlessly making a lot of noise. I like this better – it’s more civilized. Today we learned what colors are in the rainbow. I have most of them down, but I do tend to leave out orange so I have a little more work to to do on that one. I was also told I was a good boy and I believe them. I believe them because only the good kids that are quiet and behaved are called up to get their stuff first and I kept getting called first. I must have been real good b/c by the end of the day they would just tell me to come up before they even told everyone else to be quiet.

After school, daddy and I went to Celebration Park where they have a mini waterpark type thing. I have been there a couple of times before, but didn’t play in the water. This time, I figured I already moved up in class, got the potty training thing down, so why not just jump in and get my feet wet. Okay, it may have been more like dip my little toe in the water, but it’s a start. All in all, it was just a good day. Check out the videos.

Back to school

Well, I am back at school after enjoying a whole week off with mommy, daddy, Grannie, and Nanny on various days. That’s the life. I thought I was going to be in my new room this week, but not until next week. There are several new teachers at the school so it may be pushed back again, but I’m ready. I keep peaking in the window to see what’s going on and it seems pretty fun. They seem to do a lot more projects at the table which I like. I just have to pick out my seat and make sure no one else gets it before me.

Tomorrow, daddy takes me to school. Wonder if I should be easy on him in the morning…..nah.
