This is a special double post night, but not for the greatest reason. I fell and hit my head tonight on the bathroom tile. I was going to take a shower in mommy and daddy’s shower and I was a little too excited. I went to get my Lightening McQueen towel from my bathroom and tripped over it in mommy and daddy’s bathroom and then….BAM! I’m on the ground with a massive headache and bump on my head. It was just like a Tom & Jerry episode where Tom gets hit on the head and a knot starts to immediately grow (I stole that line from my grannie).
I am feeling okay now and mommy and daddy keep asking me if I’m dizzy or nauseous or how many fingers they have up. So far I am all good. Anyway, check out the pic.
Today, Texas Stadium was torn down. This is where the Dallas Cowboys played from 1971 – 2008. It will always be known for the hole in the roof – this was done of course so God could see his favorite team play on Sundays. I never got to go to Texas Stadium because I was too young to really enjoy any of the events out there, but daddy has been a number of times and some of the more memorable events include:
1984 – July – Jackson 5 Victory Tour
1993 – January – NFC Championship Game – Dallas Cowboys vs. San Francisco 49ers (Dallas won & won the Superbowl that year)
1995 – January – NFC Championship Game – Dallas Cowboys vs. Green Bay Packers (Dallas won & won the Superbowl that year)
You may notice the new widget to the right. It is there to help you stay updated with my posts. Subscribe and you will get an email telling you to go check out my latest post. I don’t post every day so this is a pretty easy way to stay updated.
BTW here is a pic of me grocery shopping. It has nothing to do with the post, but thought you may need your Parker fix.
…..PARKER. That’s what I WROTE tonight. Daddy and mommy were so impressed. I told them I was going to write my name and this is what I wrote….sure, I need to work on my “k” and “e” but not bad if you ask me.
I’m not really sure how much 1,000 is b/c I can’t count that high yet, but it sure does sound like a lot. That is how many hits I have had to my blog. While that may not be a lot to some, my only intention for this blog is touch my family and friends. I hope it has done that and I will continue along the path. Much more to come…..
My grannie sent me this. It is timely with Veterans day and all, but it is also sweet to see how puppies miss their owners and don’t forget them. Watch how fast the tails wag. My cats don’t ever do that when I come home.
